when all the partying has got too much for you, head out to Volendam on the coast nearby. A service bus from outside the central station takes you to a tiny seaside town reminiscent of a disney set, where locals still wear traditional dress. Top it off with a short trip across the water to Marken, and pick up your bus from there to get back to Amsterdam in time for tea! Fab!
