Beirut, the Paris of the Middle East, is brought alive in this new establishment serving classy French-Lebanese cuisine.
The name refers to the national symbol of Lebanon, the Cedar tree.
Location wise it may not be ideal for a quick meal but this doesn’t detract from an excellent culinary journey.

When in Amsterdam, eat with the locals. Having visited Amsterdam many times I can only recommend one place for your romantic evening meal: Cafe Bern. Located on the edge of the red light district, and from the outside looking like a dirty bar you would never enter.
But Don't Be Put Off. Book in advance for the finest cheese/meat fondue you will ever enjoy. Do not miss a true Amsterdam secret and booking before you even land is recommended.

One of the newer areas of Amsterdam, the Eastern Harbour District, is the location of a very good Italian restaurant called "Oceano".
Maybe the best thing about it is that during a nice boat trip you can easily park your boat in front of the restaurant and take out pretty much everything they have on their menu. Heated and wind protected terrace takes care of a perfect summer evening outside.

In the Scheldestraat, in Amsterdam Zuid, restaurant 't Vliegertje is located. They have very good service (very friendly, which is hard to find in Amsterdam) and the best "sate", which is an Indonesian/Dutch meat dish.

If you are in the mood for really authentic and local food (especially tapas) in Barcelona, then this is the place to be. Cal Pep is a very nice and small restaurant where you can go and enjoy excellent food, if you are lucky enough even cooked and served by Pep himself.
They don’t have a menu so let your waiter be creative. If you are not in a big hurry you can stand in line to get inside and sit at the bar where you can see the staff cooking your lunch. The other option is to reserve a table but they only have 5 so book as early as possible.

At the KHL (Canteen of the Hollandsche Lijn), located in the Oosterdokkade, where the ships of the Hollandsche Lijn used to dock. No nonsense food, great taste, good prices, relaxed atmosphere and one of the best french fries in town. Being the old canteen for sailors, the lingering residual smell of cigarettes is a strong presence. On Friday and Saturday night the podium at the back of the restaurant features surprisingly good new artists and bands.
Take Tram 26 from Central Station and exit "Rietland Park", walk towards the Lloyd Hotel(should be on your left hand). instead of turning left for the hotel, turn right, ithe KHL is located in an old house.?

Great place for dining out. Beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance, here you will not miss out on anything. You get to have a candlelight dinner, delicious 3 course menu that changes on a daily basis, accompanied with a cheese platter.
The service is also great; the waiters listen to your wishes, like for example, I am not a big fan of fish, so they always come up with a meat dish that will satisfy me.
I am always coming back there.
