This is the perfect hotel in case you have an early flight out of Shiphol. It is walking distance from the terminal, clean and very quite rooms, nice bar and very comfortable lounche.

Besides the value, airport convenience, and style, Citizen M is a meeting place. The upbeat, design aware, and ambitious will find you just beyond the entry.

This is the third time I've stayed at the Schipol Citizen M and I have enjoyed it each and every time, comfy HUGE bed, wonderful rain room shower and the location cannot be beaten for an early (or late) flight.

I stayed here one night before leaving schiphol airport by plane in the early morning. This is Value for money no noncense hotel on close walking distance from Shiphol airport terminal. Rooms (more a studio) are small but all needs at the room. Internet is free (althought wifi on room not very fast). Just the things you need.

Stayed for second time at this hotel. First time as Solo traveller in June 09 and it was Perfect !. This time in Jan 2010 was ok, but had several problems. Location is just the best and easy to get a snack at Schiphol Airport.

Firstly - the CitizenM has a great location (assuming that you have just got, or are about to get a flight to/from Amsterdam's Schiphol airport. It is within a few minutes walk of the terminal, under a covered walkway. I have stayed at some pretty dire airport hotel's whose good point is the location. Not so CitizenM. It's really like spending the night in an IKEA show room.

Iv'e always liked Buck Rogers and the world of the future and Citizen M certainly filled the bill. It had all the facilities of a more expensive hotel. With the automation all my needs were met such as the mood lighting, temperature, music, etc. I have never had such a nice relaxing shower as I had at Citizen M. and the HUGE bed was the highlight of my trip. I wish Citizen M was in Canada!!! I can hope can't I.

Firstly if you need or want a full service hotel (eg. concierge, room service, baggage handling) don't stay here. To be honest both my wife and I thought CitizenM was average. Yes its different and quirky (which can be a nice change), however it lacks in a lot of other areas.

This "Apple meets IKEA" hotel is ideal for a weekend escapade with your significant other to Amsterdam.

Ok lets say that 1st the citizenm is my favourite hotel but this stay i wasnt that happy.1st i had to pay for early check in which was 19 euro.I was a little upset with this but i paid.
