Part time Ambassador
Are you looking for a job that can easily be combined with your other activities and interests?
citizenM has positions available for half day ambassadors. This means working shifts of four hours in the morning or in the evening; three to six shifts per week. This position is available at both citizenM Amsterdam Airport and citizenM Amsterdam City.
Your main tasks are:
- welcoming our guests to the world of citizenM
- help our guests at check-in / check-out kiosk
- work with our Property Management System
- serve a signature sandwich, salad or warm dish
- prepare a super coffee and delicious cocktail
- maintain the lobby, canteenM and food displays
- re-stock canteenM
- guarantee the quality of food & beverage
- talk and listen to our guests and inform them on the hotel but also on the city; the best places to be, eat, shop or club
- inform our guests about citizenM gear available at the hotel gift shop

Night Ambassador
Your main tasks are:

- execute administrative night-audit duties
- supervise general security of our guests and the
- security floor checking
- controlling and monitoring irregularities
- accompanying guests during emergency situations

As an assistant hotel manager you are responsible for running a small team of ambassadors. Naturally you are an excellent ambassador yourself: enthusiastic, optimistic and able to treat everyone with respect.
You work together with your team, guiding, coaching and helping them to exceed guests' expectations.

Hotel Engineer
Are you looking for a job that can easily be combined with your other activities and interests?
As a hotel engineer you are responsible for the complete day to day maintenance in the hotel. You will communicate with the Hotel manager, Housekeeping department, the Development department of citizenM, and all subcontractors.
Your main tasks are:
- make sure our guests are happy! ensure our rooms are working and nothing is damaged.
- inform the hotel team which rooms can and can’t be sold
- support the hotel team with technical tasks throughout the hotel
- on call in case of emergencies
- manage and coordinate 3rd party subcontractors in terms of preventive maintenance and be the 1st point of contact in case of any issues with the building installations
- responsible for the hotel safety. this means you are involved in executing the water risk assessment and fire risk assessment.
