citizenM is a personality as well as a hotel. Consequently, citizenM wants to be located where mobile citizens of the world feel at home. 

Suitable citizenM locations can be characterized in two categories: prime urban locations and prime international airport locations.

prime urban locations

citizenM is looking for development opportunities in attractive and lively areas, well connected to city centres, business districts, nightlife and entertainment areas
and/or areas that are a specific urban destination (concentration of creative industry, developing part of the city, etc.).

citizenM hotel locations should be close to a public transportation stop and easily accessible by car and taxi.

Mobile citizens like to explore and experience the city they are visiting, therefore urban amenities and entertainment like retail, restaurants and bars should be within convenient (walking) distance of the location. 

   

prime international airports locations

Mobile citizens spend a fair amount of their time at airports, therefore citizenM likes to be located there as well.

citizenM is looking for prime locations at international airports. Similar to the hotel at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, these locations should preferably have a direct connection to the terminal buildings, or be located in very close proximity to the terminal, in order to offer maximum convenience to the citizenM guests.

The focus of citizenM is on international airports that service over 15 million passengers per year.
