The citizenM acquisition team is responsible for identifying and acquiring suitable development opportunities for citizenM hotels. 

The team is supported by an extensive pan-European network of property developers, real estate agents, consultants, architects and lawyers, all committed to the concept and the roll out of citizenM hotels.

The acquisition team is lead by Jasper Muller, who worked in the real estate advisory teams at consulting firms Andersen and Deloitte, with a focus on (international) property development. Jasper is a graduate of the Amsterdam School of Real Estate. As Acquisition Director Jasper now utilizes his real estate experience and network to source suitable development opportunities for the roll out of citizenM. Email

Thijs Brugman joined the citizenM acquisition team after finishing his study Urban Geography at Utrecht University. During his graduate period, he co-resided in Tokyo and studied the urban dynamics in European and Asian cities. Considering himself a true urban nomad, Thijs is well equipped to be responsible for all market and city research activities within the Acquisition team. Email

citizenM's acquisition team is expanding and currently has vacancies for the position of Acquisition Manager, Acquisition Research Associate and Acquisition Intern.

The Acquisition Manager will be responsible for identifying and acquiring development sites for the roll out of citizenM hotels in target cities across Europe.

The Acquisition Research Associate will be working on city and market analysis, feasibility studies of proposed hotels and general assistance of the acquisition team.

The Acquisition Intern primarily assists in city and market analysis, feasibility studies of proposed hotels and all general tasks of the acquisition team.
