Born in Scotland, raised in the Middle East and now living in London. Gareth is a globalised citizen. He is most likely to be found running alongside the Thames listening to BB King, or in Brew Dog in Shepherd’s Bush/Camden drinking a pint of Punk IPA.
Gareth thinks London is unique because no matter how obscure your interests are rest assured there is a group of like-minded souls who share your passions. Gareth says fatigue from fighting FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), is however, a real danger in the ‘Big Smoke’.
At heart, Gareth is an innovator and he is currently working on new businesses to improve health, and to create amazing once-in-a-lifetime experiences. He likes to mix serious duties and having serious fun in equal measure.
His perfect day starts with a swim in an outdoor lido pool near daybreak, followed by a bacon roll breakfast and a meeting with a good friend who also happens to be a business partner. A lazy afternoon in the park playing volleyball followed by a nap and he is ready to roll out the door to an edgy/classy bar depending on the mood to meet new people to open his mind to new perspectives and sounds.
He loves technology and his inner artist yearns to see a fusion of digital art installations in social settings to create a truly immersive experience.
His guilty pleasure is lazing around in the whirlpool and steam room in the spa in his local Virgin Active Classic gym.
Gareth thinks the human race is only at the beginning of its incredible journey and that one-day we will reach the stars.
