A red headed Glaswegian who find herself on a flight most days visiting clients. I get paid to talk (I am a speaker and trainer), listen (I am a coach) and create (I create brands in Leadership and stationery).
Our work in Leadership Styled is about bringing great conversations and leaders to more people. Our other brand – Inspirationery – is about digital and paper stationery for all stationery lovers. My heart explodes when I have conversations that really matter, when I walk past a paperchase (you can never have too much stationery) and when I on a trampoline. I am happiest on an Emirates flight (I want to be one of the air stewardesses when I grow up) and in creative spaces; I crave open space in the country and brilliantly creative places in the city – like a Citizen M! Glasgow is my home and definitely where my heart is (although a big part of my heart is in Perth Australia too!) – the shopping and nightlife is amazing but the people are the thing that lights up the city.
When I am home you are most likely to find me at home or in my lovely office at the Whisky Bond. Or craving over the best bakery in town – Bakery 47 or Marthas for a juice and a chipotle wrap or hanging upside down in Ariel Yoga (mainly to work off the Marthas and Bakery 47 obsession). Favourite restaurant is the Ox and Finch (when you can get in!!)
The people make Glasgow unique. I'm hugely biased but I think the people from Glasgow are the ultimate best – friendly, warm and totally off their head. Glasgow in one word is unexpected and my guilty pleasures are Disney movies like Mary Poppins and Dick Van Dyke.
