'Missing Records' is almost a lone soldier in a desert of scattered bones that were the record stores of Glasgow's city centre.
The luxury and convenience of the internet has done away with the need for these audio watering holes; an oasis one might say. Walking through the door and being greeted by what can only be described as the smell of ganja and felt (like that of a newly laid carpet). The smell adds to the allure of this magical wee hub of an Aladdin's cave.

There are two floors and the stairway connecting the two is as inviting as the floors themselves. The graffiti that dons the walls and doors help transport you back in time to a less complicated age. The collection of vinyl is vast and varied! I lost a good few hours flicking through plastic sleeve after plastic sleeve.
If anything its a beautiful little escape form a the 21st century and the smell that greets you, well its just as nostalgic as that crackling at the start of your record just as the pin makes contact with the vinyl.
If your in town, head down to Missing to find yourself, if only for an hour or two.
