The business citizens guide to Glasgow

It’s your first (second, fiftieth) time on a business trip to Glasgow and you want to impress your business partners. Take a leaf out of our book and join us on a tour of our best-of Glasgow.

It’s morning, you’ve got some time before that all-important meeting and you want to arrive feeling active and awake. What better way to start the day than with a beautiful breakfast served by Trans Europe Cafe? From French Toast to full-English and eggs all ways, rest assured your brain (and tummy) will thank you after.

If a cooked breakfast isn’t your thing, then Laboratorio Espresso will hit the mark. A sleek Scandinavian-meets-Italian cafe where a pure cup of creamy goodness awaits. Promise you’ll be back for lunch.

For that after-work drink, you can’t really go wrong with G&Ts, so head over to Gin71 (where you’ve booked a table in advance) and go on a gin-tasting to last you through the evening. Then it’s time for dinner at Hillhead Book Club where you’ll impress your colleagues with your knowledge of the hippest part of town. You’re welcome!

Gin71 - 71 Renfield Street, G2 1LP Glasgow

Walking into Gin71 is like stepping back in time. The 1920’s style of the bar is really effective as the décor is beautifully executed; you’re drawn to the magnificent gantry housing the 71 gins backlit with an alluring glow of the stained glass.
