Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

A ten-hour layover in Amsterdam Schiphol airport? No problem at all. As one of Europe’s best and most important airports, Schiphol has so much to offer in terms of food, drink and duty-free shopping – the best kind of shopping!

Ten hours is a lot...and we mean, a lot! Yes, you could well head into Amsterdam and back in this time, and why not? You could enjoy a leisurely sightseeing trip by boat, cycle your way around the historic streets of this magical city, or perhaps enjoy something a little more relaxing like a trip to one of Amsterdam’s many, many coffee houses! Just pop your bags into storage at the airport lockers and hop on a train from right inside the airport and you’ll be in the city centre in no time at all.

If you’re tired from your journey and not too keen on the idea of trailing about the busy streets of beautiful Amsterdam, then the airport has plenty to keep you going – even if you don’t book yourself into a hotel.
