All the situations in the hotel is a new experience, from arrival with warm welcome and friendly informations, the room with all technicallity, the view on the Square during the excellent breakfast, to the dept with fast exit.
The citizenM Radhuspladsen is very well located next to the city hall and a stone cast away from Tivoli amusement park. Almost everything is walking distance from the hotel.
Staff was helpful and the room was clean.
The bed is very comfortable. Only minus to me is the size of the room compared to the price. I categorize it as a small room.
As for the other citizenM the room is equipped with some funny tech gadget to manage the curtains, the temperature and the color of the lights. Only one thing did not work properly, the airplay music sharing, which most customers won't even care about...
We had the possibility to get an early check-in 2 hours before check-in time (non guaranteed, you get confirmation on arrival) and we were offered to leave our luggage for the day in a locked storage room on our check-out day.
A recommended place to stay if you don't have a too tight budget.
What we loved: location. people (staff). easy in / easy out. really well thought through space.
What was ok: space is really small. 24 hour food falls a little short between 'traditional' meal times.
What we didn't love: square bed that has walls on 3 sides, so one or both people have to crawl on to the bed.
Suspect we are a teensy bit older than the target market, but would stay in one again!
I loved this hotel. It had a fun funky vibe. It was centrally located, very close to Tivoly Gardens and shopping. The only problem was that the room was small and the bed(which was very comfortable) was surrounded on 3 sides by walls.
As a 73 year old it was tricky trying to crawl across the bed and my husband to get in bed. Otherwise I loved it.
we stayed here one night prior to our cruise. Like all CitizenMs, the atmosphere was great and the room was very comfortable. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. My dad had the breakfast and said it was really good.
The hotel is walkable to all points of interest. Highly recommend this hotel.
I came here for my 50th birthday and at first though "What the heck is this..." Very modern. Staff very hipster and very much left to get on with it.
Initially I thought I didn't like the room.
I thought small, crowded, a bit "impersonal" having a shower/toilet pod in the middle of the room but by the end of the 5 days I loved it. It was clean, compact, modern and I loved the iPad gadgetry for watching films, playing music etc. It was in a fabulous location and although a busy hotel in a busy area - it was unusually quiet which suited me.
Perhaps a bit old fashioned but I'd have actually liked tea/coffee making facilities in my room at the very least as it wasn't a cheap stay. Also I wasn't too keen on the Cafeteria on the top floor.
However, we had a great stay and we would definitely book here when visit the wonderful Copenhagen again.
This hotel is very efficient, very clean and centrally located in the city. There are friendly, helpful personnel available in top floor lobby to assist you with check in if needed. The lobby has small outdoor terrace and fantastic views.
Lobby also has comfortable communal seating, food service and a bar. The rooms have smart features i.e. lighting, t.v., music. Only drawback is room and bath are REALLY small. The bed is elevated, so with two people one is going to have to climb up and over to make room for the other. That said, although it is tiny, the room is laid out so that every inch is used efficiently. Would recommend to others.
Great room and alll the same, so you know whar you getplus I could choose floor on arival. Fantastic staff,, very friendly. Excellent Coffee.. If i could put my finger on anything, it was the choice of tv chanels, but who cares, you could easilly cast from your Phone.
Overall. Loved this hotel
