I liked this place. it's like a WeWork, which means there are cool things everywhere. Example: there is this cool cat near the tv in the living room. I liked it and looked it up. This thing cost $400, and it was just out in the public.
They make things look really good, it's cheery and the location is unbeatable.
Great hotel, Nice people! What more do you want?
Hotel is located right in the centre off Copenhagen, location could not be better.
Technilogy in the room is great! All controlled from the comfy bed on your iPad.
I've stayed in a few other CitizenM hotels before, so know what to expect from the room. (Compact, but with tech and a huge comfy bed)
Given the price and the location (right next to Tivoli) I felt this was the ideal choice for a one-nighter in Copenhagen.
We were given a room away from the elevator as requested, and managed to sleep for a solid 9h.
Mind you we were exhausted from walking all day, but in my book that's a big success. I would stay here again, but would make sure to make restaurant reservations: we found it not so easy to simply walk into a restaurant on a Saturday night in that neighbourhood.
So.... let’s get to the point. This hotel is amazingly located and the bar/breakfast/reception has amazing views. You check in yourself (cpu) and evening through the reception is on level 7 your rooms are normally below this level.
Ask for a room with a view of the square - it’s great.
Just a short stroll from the bars, restaurants and fun of Tivoli Gardens.
Room spacious and new.
Beautiful hotel, very cosy. Tiny little room and microbathroom would make you think you are going to spend a little less than traditional hotels. That is not the case, it is more expensive than same-category hotels in the same city, but the room size is about 35-50% smaller.
Service is fine, a bit unusual though: they clean your room up very well, but they do not make your bed.
Breakfast was excellent, but you definitely pay for it: take it if you are hungry because it is the price of a rather large lunch.
Lobby and open space for co-working is awesome.
The hotel is quirky like most boutique hotels. The ethos of living area is good and generally works. The only criticism was the lack of cutlery at breakfast probably due to understaffing. Not a comment on the staff themselves who were excellent.
Location near Tivoli is great.
Can recomend it for any weekend trip to this wonderful city.
this hotel is more of an experience than a just a room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel right at home when i arrived. The room was very clean and had lots of cool quirks like the mood lights and the square bed.
I would recommend it to anyone.
We stayed at this hotel in October, initially we were having doubts from reading all the reviews, but this hotel is a very nice hotel, great concept, our first time in copenhagen, our first time with citizenM and we shall surely be back.
This hotel is highly recommended to the business traveler.
