“Fab staff but rooms stuffy at night”

Stayed in CitizenM Bankside. I know the product: it’s funky with the best hotel breakfast anywhere (really fresh ingredients). However, the centrally controlled air conditioning makes the rooms uncomfortably warm & stuffy all night - and you can’t open a window.

A problem in summer. Otherwise a brilliant place.

“The Place to Stay”

If you're after an economical but refined and relaxing London hotel then citizenM is the place to stay. With their friendly but informative staff, wonderful ground floor area & bar and uber-smart rooms I can't recommend it enough.

Everyone should give it a try.

“Another great stay”

Once again the CitizenM gave good service, with all the same level of quality that makes it one of my best places to stay for short trips to our offices in London. Everything you need to have an overnight, or a couple of days, with a good relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

It's clean, gives great service and has good fresh food - and none of the superfluous facilities that you probably wouldn't use.

“Great stay”

Bikes (Santander-rental) in front the hotel. Great place to stay. During the night the rooms are a bit unhandy when one needs to go to the bathroom. The one who sleeps at the window-side needs to climb over the other one to leave the bed and the bathroomlight is brite and lights the entire room.

“Handy for Tate Modern, exceptional breakfast”

Probably the best range of good food in a buffet breakfast at affordable price. The bed was extremely large and comfy and the shower was powerful - just like home. Take earplugs, Sat night there was a very loud band playing somewhere nearby.

A light in the room seemed to blink all night too. In all other respects this was a good stay, not cheap but reasonable for such a good location.

“Great hotel and location”

I stayed here with my 11yr old son. We had chosen it for the location (walking distance to city centre). We loved it and would stay again. My son loved the iPad control for the lights and blinds, and the films to choose from.

I was impressed with the giant bed. Only downside is the breakfast was too expensive so went for another nearby cafe.

“Brilliant hotel in great location *****”

We only stayed for 1 night but it really was a brilliant hotel. Such a warm welcome from check in assistant. Had told the hotel it was my fiancé’s birthday and they had put some balloons and bunting in the room as well as a card! Really added that extra special touch.

Room small but perfectly practical in every way. We asked for extra pillows and they were sent up straight away. Bed large and very comfortable. We loved all the gadgets especially the electric blind! iPad to control lights and blind, tv, room temperature etc. Black out blind meant a great nights sleep. Hardly an noise from other rooms and hardly any noise from outside which was surprising as we were facing the road. Would recommend to everyone! Thank you Citizenm bankside!

“Short stay in London.”

A superb place to stay. Only one night but could easily havd been more. Very contempary feel. More like an art installation than a hotel reception. Very high tech. Loved the i pads in the room and the nice touches like the cuddly characters.

Good range of whisky too!
