“Benchmark”

The hotel sets a benchmark in modern design and functionality and has only few downsides:
+perfect location adjacent to Tower Hill metro station and in walking distance to many sights
+fast self check-in via computers and with the support of very friendly staff
+cosy lobby with a big bar, very welcoming
+almost all room features controllable by iPad, all working well
+UK-/European-/USB power sockets, fast, stable, easy to access W-LAN
+many international TV channels, free streaming movies
+free water
+free welcome drink at the roof top bar, crowded, but nice view
+fast check-out
-no own gym (they say, they work with a nearby gym)
-windows do not open (however AC works well)
-breakfast only a bit better than English average, but not worth the 13-16 GBP (enough alternatives nearby)

“Excellent stay, couldn't have been better!”

We arrived at the CitizenM Tower of London on friday the 21st of July. The check in is super easy on the computer and if you need any help, there is always an ambassador nearby. We found out we had a room overlooking the tower of London! Great view! And as a surprise the ambassadors welcomed us with a personal note and a decorated window with all the must views of London! Our trip couldn't have started any better!

Room is great, with the mood pad you can change everything in the room (colour of the lights, which lights to turn off/on, tv on/off).

We never heard any noises in the room from outside or anything. The bed is huge! And the towels are so soft! Breakfast is great as well, it offers a wide variety of foods (hot/cold)..

Couldn't fault anything on this hotel and we felt so welcomed by the staff. If you had any questions they would happily answer them. We definitely are coming back!

“Put Your Head on the block for this Tower Hill Beauty”

The Citizen M Chain are Dutch based and superb, quirky hotels with the most incredibly homelike feeling. This one behind the Tower, the Tower Bridge and overlooking the Thames has a fantastic location with views from the majority of the rooms, particularly on the south side.

The rooms are small but don't let that put you off as they are totally adequate with huge beds and extremely well designed ensuites, desk and cupboards. The best feature however, is always the downstairs common lounge area which is packed with books, nooks for reading, comfy chairs for having a drink and the most interesting and eclectic collection of just about everything. There is actually another "best" feature on the 7th floor where you can have light meals, drinks until 11 p.m. and watch the city all around you come alive in the evening. Breakfast is healthy, nutritious and good value, and meals are served for both lunch and dinner. This chain is unlike any other, being so well designed, styled and fitted out, that it is a venue in itself. Relax, lay back and thoroughly enjoy the ambience.

“Always perfect!”

Stayed for my birthday weekend trip to London, we love citizenM hotels, always greeted by friendly staff, the rooms are all very clean and minimalist but fresh!

An iPad to control the room is so cool!
Massive beds with the softest pillows you could ever need.

Looking forward to staying again very soon.

Awesome job guys

“Entertaining stay in this quirky hotel”

Love the relaxing areas downstairs with lots to look at while you eat or drink, plus the top floor bar with its views over London at night.
The rooms are comfortable and you can barely hear the London traffic below - we slept in!
And the location is great fro Borough Market, the Globe, Tate Modern, etc etc..

“Great for a weekend in London”

We absolutely loved the location of this hotel. Located right on top of the tube station you can get anywhere fast! Rooms were clean and we liked all the mood settings and features. The big library of good and recent movies to view was great as well.

Helpfull and attentive staff made you feel right at home. Will check out other citizen m's in the future!

“Location, location, location”

Assuming my title would be self-explanatory, but here I will add some detail...
The location of this hotel is perfect. Across from the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge is only the beginning.

Being directly above the Tower of London Underground station offered limitless options for our vacation.
In addition to the location, the hotel itself offered a powerful punch. The rooms were very comfortable even though they are smaller than your average hotel room (this is advertised, so we expected it and enjoyed it). The technology within the hotel is also very impressive, from a "one-minute" check-in, to the ability to control all features of the room by using an iPad. If you are not a fan of technology, this may not be the place for you.
Everything about our stay was wonderful, but we especially enjoyed the full-size shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and free wifi.
We are already looking forward to a return visit to London and will definitely be staying at the citizenM Tower of London hotel again.

“Super location, cozy rooms”

I enjoyed my stay for 4 days in the CitizenM. The rooms are small but well deigned. The smart room feature was particularly useful. The rooftop bar was a great add on. Also the Wilde and Dickens novels in the room were a cool feature.

Would have been great if they had a ironing board in the room (but could be requested from the front desk).
