Comfortable bed, great amenities in the room (waterfall shower, automatic blinds, lights controlled by ipad, TV that has apple TV). It's quirky but in a really good way (not in a cringe, try-hard kind of way).
The highlight was the rooftop bar and the view of the Tower of London. Very instagrammable!
We stayed here for 5 days while visiting the city. Our view thru the large picture window was of the Tower of London and the Tower bridge - and was awesome at all hours of the day and night. The room was very comfortable despite being small - the bed was very comfortable, small shower/bathroom was adequate, Ipad controls of the lights and a/c amused my husband.
Stay did not include breakfast. Be sure to request a room with a view of the Tower. Hotel was very convenient to the Underground.
Perfect located above the underground station
Amazing furniture by vitra
Room interface with iPads and great movie selection for free!
Breakfast is a little too expensive for my taste.
View from the bar over London is awesome.
Fantastic stay at Citizen M london. First time and won't be the last. My new goto hotel chain when looking for city break weekends and other stays. Hotel reception really straight forward and the communal areas superbly fitted out, ultra modern and stylish.
Room small but perfectly formed and to have everthing on an ipad is brillient. Free films is a bonas as well. bathroom facilities really good. All the staff really friendly and helpful. Bar areas are awsome and the view from the 7th floor bar over the tower of London and surroundings was amazing. Highly recommended.
Wonderful contemporary environment, fun and cool. Sometimes trying a bit too hard. The common areas are outstanding. The rooms are fab but it is the little things that nag me. Damp smelling bathroom, mobility assisted bathroom without requesting one.
Did not receive the type of room requested. Lots of drinks at breakfast
Love the Citizen M brand. Have stayed at teh bank side branch a few times, so thought we'd try out this Tower Hill branch. First of all - it is literally above the tube station. Big tick for a night out.
Yet the room we had, 1st floor as well, was extremely well sound proofed for a friday night.
This is a perfect spot for a budget tourist - you are seconds away from The Tower of London and bridge, and all the attractions along the Thames. It's a 25 minute walk to St Pauls.
Rooms will always be small - and possibly a bit 'marmite' for some. Trademark tablets control lights and tv etc - and it's all a bit high tech and ultra modern. Still, if you just want a big comfy bed - this is fine.
The whole place has a very adult feel - i doubt theres family rooms - and adult films are easily and freely available on your giant TV. Twinned with the 'Romantic' mood lighting things could get seedy very quick.
Downstairs however it's a fun, hipster Brit Pop feel to everything. We ordered late night pizza after partying late - this was £11, very nice and large. It's all very reasonably priced - the room was cheap for this area - about £80 for Friday night.
Check in was all via touch screen console, and took 2 mins. I was back out into town in no time after dropping off bags -perfect!
Fabulous hotel in a great location with superb views over the city. Staff couldn’t be more helpful to make our stay special. Will definitely stay in a citizen M Hotel again. The concept is so customer satisfaction oriented.
Lively, creative, super techie and fun. Last minute couples break, great location busy atmosphere clean and clever. Plus the staff were super friendly and efficient. The decor was awesome, the 7th floor bar with views to London Bridge were stunning
