“Highly Recommend”

I highly recommend this hotel especially if in London for business. It is a modern boutique hotel with a convenient buffet breakfast, comfortable beds, refreshing rain shower, and blackout shades. The rooms are high tech with iPad-controlled blinds, thermostat, and lights.

Even better the rooms are equipped with USB and US electric outlets. Business district is nearby as well as the tube which is only steps away. I'd recommend staying elsewhere if you require a lot of space in your room or a concierge. While a bit far from Buckingham Palace, Westminster and the many parks out west, the wharf and Tower of London are nearby. Enjoy your trip.

“Good hotel”

Lovely room only thing missing was the tea/coffee making facilities in room. There was amble choice for breakfast though the service for hot drinks was slow. Would recommend this hotel for short stays.

“Innovative Approach”

Very different hotel experience, like driving a Tesla. Completely digital check in and admin. Loved the innovative and Shoreditch style. Only negative is the size of the rooms, but if only for a couple of nights it is great.

Wonderful service great bar ont he 7th floor definitely would go back again.

“Everything you need!”

I booked CitizenM Tower of London on a recommendation from a friend, for a one night stay in London in celebration of our wedding anniversary. The booking process was easy and the staff were very helpful on email when i needed to contact them.

Because we couldn't check in until 2pm, we were able to drop off some luggage to be held for us, to save us dragging it around town. When we arrived back at the hotel at about 9:30pm, check in was simple and straightforward and there were members of staff floating around to assist you if you needed it.

Our room (which I paid an extra £30 for a Tower view...worth it) was on the 6th floor. Of a similar size to any Premier Inn room, it was well laid out - neat - compact - comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need for a short stay and enough room for two. The bed was enormous and super comfortable and the fact everything in the room was controlled via a mini iPad, which was kinda cool.

We didn't have breakfast, but we did enjoy a coffee the following morning, which was lovely. The breakfast options looked fresh and tasty so it may be something we'd try if we stayed there again. All in all a very pleasant, comfortable stay. We would certainly recommend it to friends and family and stay there again.

“Your opportunity to experience 'tiny house' living”

If you are a single traveler, this is the hotel for you. If you are traveling with a companion you must be on intimate and good terms.

The staff is wonderful: helpful without being intrusive.

Check in and out are quick and easy.

The lobby cafe is excellent. We did not do the "breakfast option." We had a daily americano and croissant for breakfast and it was about £4.50 per person. The croissants were excellent and while we stayed the croissant options were: plain, chocolate and raisin.

The bar on the 7th floor has great views of London. Drinks are reasonably priced and the options are extensive.

The room: we selected "high floor and minor views." We were placed on the 5th floor and had a minor view of the Tower of London. The bathroom: an enclosed frosted glass capsule that has a toilet and shower. The rain shower head was great with a hand shower also available. A basin vanity is outside of the bathroom. The space between the bathroom frosted glass wall and the vanity is is about 31 inches (or a bit larger than the width of a yoga mat). The space between the end of the bathroom enclosure and the bed is about 4 feet. There is a filmy curtain that can be drawn across the room to separate the bath/vanity area from the desk/bed area. There is a narrow desk on one side of the room with a stool for seating and one chair. The bed is the size of a California King mattress and abuts the wall on three sides with the widow being at the head of the bed. I have no idea of the contortions the housekeeper must go through to put a sheet on the mattress. A large television monitor is on one of the side walls. The mattress was a bit too soft for us but pretty comfortable over all. The bed is high off of the floor to accommodate one large storage drawer. The other clothes storage space is a small open closet There are two hooks on the wall to hang outer wear. The flooring is linoleum and matches the ceiling covering. While I read reviews that the safe would accommodate a 15" laptop, I think it would be a tight fit. I have a 13" laptop and it fit with little room left over.

All of the lights, television and window coverings are controlled via an iPad. Easy to use with a short learning curve.

There is no option for total privacy so, you had best be on excellent and intimate terms with your travel companion. If you are a couple who have the occasional 'travel spat' there is no private space to retreat to as you cool off. Your only option is to leave the room which might be viewed as a 'hostile' move by someone who is already annoyed with you.

Room is basically white with red accents. Most folks probably wouldn't mind this but one of my pet peeves of decorating with red is people seem to be unable to distinguish between 'blue reds' and 'yellow reds'. The room accents are a mix of both and it kind of drove me nuts. If you are like me, you have been warned.

Over all, I would highly recommend this hotel for the single traveler and for a couple as well except for the things I itemized above.

“Amazing hotel, great staff, perfect location!”

What a great surprise! Always heard about the citizenM quality but this hotel is really great! Friendly staff, tech rooms and a perfect location, right in front of Tower of London and subway station.

Oh, there's a late checkout option for only £29 and in many cases will be worthy it!

“A really thoughtful interior design just made for flexible working lives”

Super shared communal spaces and clean, comfortable and efficient bedroom. But do not stay here if you like a large bedroom to spend time in! I will definitely stay here again. I was able to both work and relax with ease.

Too much musac all day in all communal spaces. Wonderful light and interesting views from 7th floor bar.

“Amazing place!”

My husband and i stopped there for 2 nights and 3 days. The place is amazing, can't be closer to the underground, very modern, and organised. People very kind and rooms lovely. We ll recommand that place to friends.

The view on the rooftop is splendid ! Thanks a lot. We are just disappointed to go back so early :)
