The only reason this place isn't getting 5 stars is that there are no baths in the bathrooms or coffee/tea-making facilities in the rooms. (Although there was free water in the fridge).Other than that, its some place.
I've never been in a foyer/lounge area that was so stylish, well used and full of relaxed visitors. The staff were friendly and there was a general good buzz in the afternoon when I arrived, in the evening when I sat there after dinner and again at breakfast.. The place is stunning, if you like that kind of thing (you'll have to go and check it out). It's self check-in but someone was on hand to help and I got the choice of floor and view. I chose a view of Trinity Square which was stunning. My bed was big enough for four and fitted in between the walls and large window. There was an automatic curtain and black-out blind, international T.V. channels and a great shower (rain and hand). I could go on but you've probably got the point by now. Check it out - you won't regret it.
The first thing we saw when we stepped out of the metro was the hotel, talk about easy to find after a long travel day. Did the pre check in and it made it seem less. All the movies and entertainment and bottled water in the room were complimentary - pretty amazing when all the luxury hotels and big brands are happy to charge you for every little thing.
The black our blinds were perfect for us as we didn’t want to get too far off our PST time zone with us being on a long weekend trip. First day home and I can feel the difference. Has not trouble sleeping through the night and feel like I will have very little jet lag.
Exceptionally valuable for the money spent. The location is simply amazing with the tube station few steps away from the entrance but still able to keep the entrance lounge so comfy and cool. The rooftop bar had Amazing cocktails with breathtaking views of the tower of London.
The room as small but so so comfy .the bathroom was really big and everything was spotlessly clean.
You cannot beat the location of this hotel - has to be the nearest hotel to an underground station (Tower Hill) and to the Tower of London. The £19 upgrade to Tower views is well worth paying. The bedroom is very small but does have a very large bed and is perfect for stays of 1-3 nights.
The shower is very powerful with a small bathroom inside the room with mood lighting. Checkin is all self service although there is a member of staff to help. The bar on the 7th floor has some comfortable chairs and wonderful views of Tower Bridge and The Tower and The Shard! There is a small eating/dining area and bar on ground floor where breakfast can be purchased as well as a coffee bar by the entrance. Probably not suited to families with young children. Would definitely stay here again for short stays and you cannot beat the price for the location and views.
Fantastic.....the views are amazing, the bed is so big and comfortable.
The room has everything you could wish for and more . Checking in is very quick and the Staff are very helpful and friendly .
The Tower Hill Tube Station is literally next door , which makes getting around London so easy .
I would recommend this brilliant Hotel to everyone.
We will definitely be returning.
Make sure you check out the bar at night the view is amazing!
A fantastic location just above Tower Hill tube. Rooms are compact but beds are big and have everything you need!
Breakfast if you choose to have it is very good.
Staff are friendly and efficient.
We would stay again in a heart beat!
I recently spent 2 days at the Citizen M hotel attending a 2 day course. The meeting was on the 7th floor which has some amazing views over London. All of the staff were extremely helpful (especially Paula).
If you are looking for a contemporary hotel with great views of London then this is the one I would book
Recently stayed here for 1 night and could not have been more pleased with the hotel, especially considering how cheap it is. We have stayed in a few hotels which have attempted this concept, but none as successful as this one.
Going forward when visiting any city that has a CitizenM hotel, we will absolutely be making a booking!
Service upon arrival was FAB! I did not get the mans name, but we were helped by a youngish Australian man, who checked us in, gave us a Tower View Room and a free drink at the bar!
The room was immaculate and everything you need for a short stay. Bed was extremely comfortable, huge TV with a free selection of TV and brand new movies, great shower, ironing facilities on each floor.
Had we not been offered a free drink, we most likely wouldn't have gone up to the bar which would have been a HUGE mistake. The views were amazing of the Shard, Tower of London and CBD. Make sure you go up for a drink!
Absolutely recommend this hotel and absolutely will be back!!!
