Staying at the citizenM Tower Hill was very comfortable with a great breakfast (best coffee ever!). The friendly employees are definitely outstanding. The Tower view from our room was absolutely amazing!
Enormous very comfy bed. Great shower. Great location. Very chic . Lovely view from bar on 7th floor but this was unaccountably not open on Sunday. But no coffee/tea facilities in room though very nice coffee available in the lobby ( at a price).
This might seem picky but I was also expecting body lotion so didn't bring any of my own . Both these things are pretty standard in a hotel of this level.. Not sure of the whole citizen thing. Had shades of big brother and 1984. (George Orwell). But I'd definitely stay again.
Fancy a change from the standard hotel chains? CitizenM is it. I’ve stayed here twice – once with my son, the second time with my boyfriend – and I’d never stay anywhere else in London now.
Superb value for money, excellent location, on top of Tower Hill tube station (literally!) quirky, funky and imaginative decor, inexpensive (for London!) drinks, breathtaking views from the upstairs bar, HUUUUUUGE comfortable bed (in an otherwise small bedroom) free current movies on the large TV – even an iPad to control the lighting, blinds and television.
Staff are generally informal, friendly and super helpful (we had one notable exception in the upstairs bar but that was unusual).
Can’t think of a single thing that lets the hotel down, though some guests might not like the fact that there are no family rooms.
This is my second time staying in this hotel in the last couple of months and I love it!
The location is superb, right next to Tower Gate Tube Station and a short walk to the Tower Gateway DLR station it makes it so easy to get around London.
The rooms have all the amenities you would need with a massive bed and a large screen TV which is operated by a tablet (this is also used to operate the blinds and lights).
Staff are friendly and you can easily grab a coffee to takeaway as you head out to explore what the city has to offer. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but it looks very nice too (can recommend the chocolate muffins).
A visit to the bar on the 7th floor is a must, we used to go for a nightcap, try and get a seat looking out to the Tower of London, amazing view!
Amazing views from the rooftop bar
Underground is right next to the hotel very handy when seeing the sights of London
Staff are so friendly and helpful.will definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting London
Great location and a trendy bar. That said no spare pillows so could not get an extra one. No kettle in room so had to pay per cup of team. Breakfast not great and at £13.00 not good value for money when you compare what you got for the money.
First stay at Citizen M, friendly welcome, great modern decor. Room was superb, biggest bed i have had in a hotel, right in the window with a fantastic view of the Tower of London. Underground station immediately outside and DLR around the corner.
Great hotel and Great Location!
Incredible hotel - from the check-in to the check-out, I had an excellent experience in CitizenM Tower of London. Very functional, very comfortable and the staff (they're top). The room is such an experience itself - for me, the bed and the pillow were the best and made my sleep very restful.
Definitely, an experience to repeat.
