The smiles, the warmth, amazing rooms with technology, luxury, view and you can never get bored. The food was delicious and the people incredibly welcoming and genuine. Loved this place, definitely will return.
Super design hotel. Great bed and shower. Very efficient and luxurious rooms. I like to efficient way of checking in. Although our check in system didnt work. Good location for Ladefence. Diner after 10 PM is somewhat dissapointing (small fingerfood portions).
In general it was a very convienent stay.
I booked a room at CitizenM La Defense and got a room on the 5th floor with a huge window and a awesome view on the Grande Arche. Room size is sufficient. Wifi, bed and shower were good. You control everything in the room with an iPad mini.
10 min walk to Grande Arche with a subway station and shopping area. Checkin and -out selfservice with assistance from the crew. Parking is expensive: €25 for a day!
BF stayed for a work conference and I surprised him by taking daughter to see him on her 1st bday.
Staff were absolutely amazing in accommodating me and my daughter despite turning up without much notice.
Big shout out for Shane who went above and beyond to make us smile. This dude leant me his personal phone charger. Free birthday cake and coffees just hit the spot :)
Room small but does the job. Very clean, comfortable and cosy (room and hotel itself). Numerous "chill out" places if you want a change of scenery but don't fancy going out.
Really cool ipad controls in room and plenty of charge points. A few places to snack and eat in the hotel and there are places worrying walking distance too.
Location practical as not too far from tube station. Just a shame Paris transport system is pants compared to London.
Only criticism - could do with more vegetarian cooked food options.
I really enjoyed staying in this hotel and would return again at my next business trip to the La Defence business district.
Check-in was self service, and everything was very intuitive with staff available should you need help.
The whole process took less than five minutes. The added bonus was a free drink voucher at the hotel bar, which is a nice touch.
The room was very trendy with a large bed and comfortable linen. It was very clean throughout.
The in-room entertainment was better than most hotels. On demand movies were all free. Easy access to music tracks with loads to choose from. This is a welcome feature to the usual BBC, CNN or alike English TV channels when in a foreign country hotel.
Tip: La Defence was eerily quiet when I arrived at 10pm. I’m sure the area is safe enough, but walking past large office buildings with nobody in sight is not my thing so I will get a taxi next time instead of taking the metro.
A great experience in that citizenM: nice room (but not so large), great food, good service.Only my comment, that hotel is at the far end of La Defense . So depending on where you're going that could be very close or a little bit far away from your destination. But again great experience.
Working away from home was made much more bearable thanks to the great hotel, facilities and service at CitizenM. The room was clean and had everything I needed to feel at home on my 2 night stay. Everything managed off the ipad technology, I was able to change the lighting to suit my mood and open the blinds at the touch of a button to admire the amazing view from my comfy bed.Definitely recommend the High floor arch view room - amazing view at any time of the day!Bottled water in fridge was replenished, good quality toiletries and most importantly - a hair dryer that has the blow dry nozzle attachment and that actually is powerful enough to dry my long hair in a reasonable timeframe!Great channels on the TV along with the film selection (perfect after a long day in the office). Also important to note that the check in and check out was so swift due to the online system - great when on a tight schedule! I will definitely return on future trips to Paris.
Booked 4 nights with friends at this modern hotel. The rooms were compact and modern with lights, blinds, tv controlled by a iPad mini. The bed was very comfortable, although as stated in other reviews slightly awkward as it covers the width of the room and the person sleeping on the inside gets up before the other!
All staff encountered were very helpful and extremely friendly.
The breakfast/ bar area was well set out and the price of both food and drink was, in some cases less than the bars and restaurants in the surrounding area.
Even though it is not in the centre of Paris we would have no problems using this hotel as a base for visiting the city.
It is in a business area and so quiet on the weekend.
Will use again.
