clean hotel with great city view! friendly staffs, but its a little bit far from Taipei station (should not be a problem as taxis or Uber are everywhere). To fill up your tummy only 5-7 minutes walking distance away.
It's easy to find - even if You are in Taipei for the first time.
The Taoyuan Airport MRT (the purple line) takes around 35 minutes to bring You there. At Taipei Main Station (You can't miss it - it's the terminus) move straight up to the street level, leave the station and spin around with open eyes.
Across the street - on the side with the tall buidlings there's one with a big red "M" at the top end, and an old, red building in front of it. There you are.
This (off course the "M" building) will probably be Your home for a few days and nights.
The checkin was fast and friendly. An 'elevator trip' later Your room says "Hello ..." to You on it's tablet. This tablet will be Your 'friend' during Your stay. It's Your TV remote, wakes You up in the morning, closes the blinds in te evening, mirrors Your small phone display on the big screen or dives Your room into different colours of light.
But there is more than Your room. Don't miss the bar at the first floor. Have a drink there or take Your glass to one or the other comfortable areas at this level. Watch sports on TV, read a book in one of the quiet corners or talk with friends or other guests at the table or the seating areas. So You will not get bored - even if it is a rainy evening or You don't want to go out.
Definitively a good place to stay.
... and have an open eye for the cool "CitizenM"-art everywhere in the hotel. The pictures, the "Elephant man", the "street map" carpet ...
Across the street from the express train to the airport, a few blocks from the hip shopping and food area Ximen in one direction and old Beimen a few blocks in the other direction. Easy access to Green line and underground shopping mall.
Husband and I walked to Longshan Temple and the ksi-shek memorial hall, but might want to take the subway if u have kids.
Great room, loved the rain shower with removable head. Sink is separate from bathroom, a pretty big English TV selection, 2 new bottles of water in fridge every day, fun to change the light colors of the bathroom on your traveling companion while they are taking a poop and can't do anything about it. It's ridiculously over-the-top and sometimes creepy in theme and art, but super clean, good ac and nice big bed and bathroom. Will most likely stay here again if I go back to Taipei.
The hotel room was comfy with a decent view. Location was great, just est 45 mins from the airport. I went to the dining floor twice and ordered a cocktail. The drink was good with a comfortable price(in a hotel).
The location is excellent with several metro lines pretty close and the train station within walking distance. The rooms are exciting as one wall is a large window looking out over the large intersection.
The staff are very nice and gladly share information about Taipei. There is a cafe / bar open 24 hours a day. The only remarks were that check-in and check-out did not work 100%. The idea is that it should be self-service but the system has too many shortcomings. Another problem that the hotel shares with other "modern" hotels is that all lighting is controlled by one switch, which means that nightly toilet visits awaken everyone else. Rethink and think right!
good location with most convenient transportation to airport, most of sightseeings. Big window which give you special experience for rainy Taipei.
Tidy room with smart control TV/LIGHTS give you more modern hotel expeeience.
Limited room space with compact furniture and decoration, still meets most of stay request for single or even couples.
frendly staff which give you very helpful guide to strolling in Taipei.
The service was speedy, staff was nice and efficient, rooms and lounge super clean, great style and good location. Loved the high tech facilities, except from the curtains that did not work well for some unknown reason.
The room is nice with a river view, the check in & out process were quick. The location is very convenient as it closes to Ximending & Taipei Station. However, the button of curtain and blind has problem sometimes (not smooth), and the A/C is not that cold even I turned to 18 degree.
Other than these, overall experience was great.
