Location of hotel is nice because it is near the North Gate MRT station. The living room is clean and comfortable to live. The furniture and lighting in canteen is very good in design. The breakfast food is delicious.
Stylish design hotel, room come with nice window view while check in can choose your own preferences room floor and view. Staff service was good and flue communication skill , room cleaners everything are good except sound insulation.
Excellent location walking distance to MRT & Ximenting. Hotel staffs are very friendly & helpful. Room was clean & new but a bit small (no space for big luggage). Breakfast was good but same spread everyday.
Overall a good stay, definitely will be back again
First of all, thank you for making good memories of Taiwan. The staff were so kind and the service was excellant. especailly satisfied with the view of the room. I'll use it again later. If I visit Taiwan :)
Clean, easy to find, excellent breakfast, really good coffee and a comfortable bed. The location was great, minutes away from the station and the airport train. The staff were fantastic, and a big shout out to Shin - thank you for all your help.
Everyone made me feel so welcome.
Exceptional good personal service and .consideration. Modern, nice design, exceptional good shower and bed. Small but well equipped rooms. Tasty food both breakfast and dinner. We will be back and recommend Citizen M to others!
The view from this hotel of Taipei branch is indeed exceptional, you wont find any of the same kind in half of Asia. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for building such a place, finding and training the most friendly and helpful ambassadors, putting greatest effort for great art pieces and design concepts which provides constant feeling of comfortable, luxury and neat environment - perfection of our time and giving youth and old what they appreciate the most in XXI century, thank you for this experience
Quirky hotel just a few minutes walk from the North Gate exit of Taipei main station, this is my second stay at this brand, the first time being a couple of years ago in Amsterdam.
Check-in is similarly self-service, and after punching in a few booking details, scanning your passport, and scanning a luggage-tag key, you are all set to go.
The room is a box, literally, but decked out in such a way that it doesn't seem too claustrophobic.
Although we ask for a bigger room, we are told (and this is confirmed by looking on the website) that all rooms are exactly the same size. The corner view from the 23rd floor is spectacular though. There is an iPad which acts as the master controller for the room, for aircon, lighting, TV, and other things as well.
All required amenities are provided, and each has a quirky little saying which is characteristic of the branding of the hotel.
Breakfast is reasonable, and is served by super friendly staff - in fact they must have a Millennial-only hiring policy as they all seem to be so young and happy to be working there.
The overall ambiance of the hotel is chick, cool, and trendy, with interesting artwork adorning the walls on each floor. The chill-out communal area has 4 Apple PCs with huge screens so I catch an episode or 2 of Netflix during my downtime.
Not sure if I would stay here again, simply due to the size of the rooms only.
