Victor Hugo wrote Les Miserables there. Napoleon was a great admirer of the area. It has architecture dating back to the Middle Ages. Le Marais is another world hiding in plain sight in the middle of Paris. It's the place to get lost, pastry in hand of course.
Paris city centre needed just one thing to be even more awesome – a boutique citizenM hotel near Gare de Lyon station. After a day of shopping and culture, sink into contemporary comfort in one of our 338 designer rooms. Bonne nuit!
Book direct and pick the mycitizenM rate to save at least 6% off your stay. All you need is a free account (get it while you book, it's easy).
