Between June 27 and 30, 2019 we will bike from Paris to Rotterdam to raise funds for citizenMovement. All funds will be destined to our charity partner World Bicycle Relief, and our goal for 2019 is to fund 1000 bicycles for young students in rural Sub-Saharan African communities.
We are proud to announce that former Dutch professional road racing cyclist Steven Rooks will join us again as a team leader. In the 1988 Tour de France, Rooks finished second and won a finish on L’Alpe d’Huez. He won the polka dot jersey for the mountains classification and the Présence Classification.
In my experience, multi-day events offer far more than just increased mileage; they offer a chance to push our boundaries whilst simplify things and engaging with people in a meaningful way – freeing us from the distractions of our busy lives and just maybe, these events allow us the modern-day opportunity to “go into the woods and live deliberately”.

A bicycle means better attendance, improved academic performance, and a higher chance of staying in school. What took hours on foot can now be completed in minutes, thanks to WBR.
