What is mycitizenM+?

mycitizenM+ is a hotel rewards program unlike any other. There are no points to collect, no cards to carry, no membership numbers to remember. You simply sign up for one year, choose your payment (12 monthly payments, or 1 lump sum payment with a discount), and start enjoying all the perks immediately.

The perks are: guaranteed lowest rate on the web, guaranteed room (with 48 hours' notice), early bird access to all sales, free late check-out, free premium view from your room (at all hotels with a premium view), and 10% off all food and drinks (except breakfast). This is not the end – more perks are coming soon!

How do I sign up?

Follow this link straight to the buying page (you will need to log in when you get there), or scroll up and click the 'buy now' button.

When do I pay?

You pay for the membership when you buy it - your first of 12 payments if you choose the monthly plan option, or your one full payment (with a discount) if you choose the lump sum option).

You can also pay while booking any stay – select your preferred mycitizenM+ rate, buy the membership, then finish your booking (in other words, just follow the flow).

How long am I signing up for?

You are signing up for one year, on either a monthly payment plan, or with one lump sum payment (with a discount).

You might have caught a special promotion - for example, a free trial for two months. In this case, the free trial period is added at the start of the membership. So with a two-month free trial, your membership will last 14 months - two months for free, 12 months paid. During the free trial, you can cancel your membership anytime with no obligation, and the 12-month paid period will not begin.

How do I cancel mycitizenM+ membership?

All memberships - the monthly and the annual - come with a 14-day cancellation period if you change your mind.

If you start with a free trial, you can cancel your membership anytime during the trial period with no obligation, and the 12-month paid period will not begin.

To cancel your membership, log into your citizenM account, go to the 'membership' section, then follow the steps. We will send you an email to confirm the cancellation and the remaining terms (remaining time, how many payments still remain, etc).

How do I use my food and drink discount?

The discount is for members only, so you need to show your membership badge to the hotel team whenever you place an order.

You will find the badge in the free citizenM app - download it now if you don't have it yet, and go to the 'profile' section. There, you will find more information about the discount. You get 10% off all food and drinks, except breakfast.

If you already have the app, but your member status is not showing, please upgrade your app to the latest version. You may need to sign in again after app update.

At the moment, the discount is not yet available for app orders - you need to order with an ambassador at the bar.

Is my food and drink discount automatically applied?

No – at the moment, you must show your member badge every time you order in person at the bar. If you forget, we won’t be able to give you the discount afterwards.
