Paris' summer showstoppers
June
Are you a music lover and will be in Paris this summer? Then bingo, the Fête de la Musique (or World Music Day) is for you! Last year, we experienced an amazing day of travelling to all parts of Paris during this free event, where bands, djs, and concerts blow the speakers out! Find your vibe and hang out for the day.
For more adventure, the Nuit Blanche (White Night) invites any and all to the annual art festival of the city. Hobble through museums, art galleries, and feel the beat with dance and theatre performances.
July
Bastille Day is here too, ready to party with a spectacular military parade and fireworks that light up the sky. Join the crowds lining the Champs-Élysées for a show that will leave you saying "ooh la la!"
Paris Plages also kicks off in July, turning the banks of the Seine into a beachy paradise. Think deck chairs, palm trees, and sand – it's the perfect spot to catch some rays without leaving the city.
Concerts and festivals also fill the cities this 2025 year like Lollapalooza Paris and Dolcevita-Sur-Seine festival, where you can unleash your bass-filled beast.
Watch the cyclists circling the Champs-Elysees this year, too, with the Tour de France. This maddening race starts in the city of Lille on July 5th, making its way to the final stage at Champs-Elysees in Paris on July 27th. You definitely don’t want to miss this once in a lifetime experience!
For film buffs, Cinéma en Plein Air at Parc de la Villette is a must. Watch classic films under the stars, armed with a bottle of wine and some cheese. It’s movie magic with a Parisian twist.
August
in August, Paris takes a breather as many locals head off on holiday. This secretly makes August one of the best times to visit Paris. With fewer crowds, you can enjoy museums and cafés at your own pace. It's ideal for a peaceful flânerie (that's French for leisurely stroll).Enjoy the calm by exploring hidden gems like Canal Saint-Martin. Rent a bike, paddle a boat, or just enjoy a lazy afternoon strolling by the water.
